The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is
designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is the
native language. This includes countries such as Australia, Canada, New

How Many Modules in IELTS?
There are four module in IELTS.
1. Listening - The Listening test is the same for both IELTS Academic test and IELTS General Training test. You will need to answer 40 questions in response to four recordings. You will listen to four recordings which are a mix of monologues and conversations from a range of native speakers and you will only hear each recording once.
2. Reading- The IELTS Reading test consists of 40 questions, designed to test a wide range of reading skills. These include reading for gist, reading for main ideas, reading for detail, skimming, understanding logical argument and recognising writers' opinions, attitudes and purpose.
3. Writing - The writing section of the IELTS tests how you write a response in an appropriate manner and how you organize the ideas and use the grammar and vocabulary accurately. The writing component encompasses two tasks- IELTS Writing Task 1 and IELTS Writing Task 2
4. Speaking- IELTS Speaking is a face-to-face, informal discussion with an IELTS examiner, and is the same for both Academic and General Training. The test is divided into 3 parts and is designed to test your pronunciation, fluency, grammar and vocabulary.
Academic IELTS - If you wanted
to go abroad as a student or study visa you must give academic IELTS. After
getting Academic result it will verify by colleges or universities.
General IELTS - If you want to
go abroad through work visa or as PR you must give General IELTS.
